MCC completes review of foreign aid portfolio
Ms. Alicia Robinson-Morgan, Vice President, Department of Compact Operations (Acting), notified the Government of Côte d’Ivoire on July 25, 2025, of the resumption of CFPCR-MCC activities.
The note states in essence: « The review of US foreign aid related to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) portfolio has been completed. The resulting portfolio will clearly align with the Trump administration’s ‘America First’ foreign policy. Details of the implications for the Côte d’Ivoire Regional Energy Compact will be communicated in the coming weeks, following the MCC Board of Directors’ process and consultations with Congress and the highest authorities in Côte d’Ivoire. »
