Creation of the CFPCR-MCC : OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: CREATION OF CFPCR-MCC!
During the Council of Ministers on September 28, 2023, a major decision was made for the energy development of Côte d’Ivoire.
In collaboration with the Ministries of Mines, Oil, Energy, Economy and Finance, Budget, and State Holdings, the government has officially created the Committee for the Formulation of the Regional Compact Program of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), now known by the acronym ‘CFPCR-MCC’.
This initiative is part of the partnership with the Millennium Challenge Corporation, which plans major investments, primarily in the electricity sector. A financing agreement was signed in January 2023 for the implementation of the Regional Compact program. The CFPCR-MCC will have the primary mission of identifying and monitoring the activities of this program, thereby reinforcing our commitment to a sustainable energy future for all.
